Our client is a leading specialist of washrooms. They offer durable and complete solutions to help fit any requirements. They require a CAD Designer who can produce high end joinery drawings to join a very vibrant and hard-working team to work closely alongside the design manager and produce Auto-CAD drawings.
As a CAD Technician, your role will be focused on furniture design and detailed drawings for manufacture. This is a great opportunity with potential of long-term career development. The candidate must be trained and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and is able to produce precise joinery/workshop drawings mid-level design co-ordinator to prepare detailed design drawings for manufacture of bespoke joinery.
Essential Criteria
Should have ability to work closely with designers/architecture to produce 2D, technical drawings.
Have proficient use of AutoCAD 2D.
Candidate should have 5+ years of experience within the joinery industry developing technical drawings.
He can produce cutting lists (for all the component parts of the joinery product).
He should be able to work accurately and on complex projects whereby the technical drawings can be given to a cabinet making to produce.
Be able to work at pace and accurately.
Desirable Criteria
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills; excellent attention to detail.
Skills in handling customers and contractors with tact.
PC computer literate in email and Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel.
Be a real team player, with an abundance of passion, loyalty and honesty, who enjoys working as part of a team.
