Junior Graphic Designer - Canterbury
Our Client is proud to produce some of the best graphic design work in Kent. They care about what they do and help clients understand the importance of their brand image and the work that they do. They are a full service marketing agency and are expanding rapidly in terms of their size and the range of services offered to our clients. They are looking to hire an energetic and conscientious graphic designer to be an integral part of their team to assist with design work for both online and offline. This job would really suit a hardworking graduate who is eager to learn in a friendly and helpful environment and has a strong interest in UX.
Our Client is a global award winning creative and digital agency based in Canterbury. They are like a close family, where everyone is treated equally and given the opportunity and responsibility to grow and reach their potential.
Who are you?
* You have a design degree and possibly Powerpoint.
* You have an engaging portfolio that demonstrates your potential in both print and digital design
* You will have a keen interest in UX and if possible have examples of digital work such as website design.
* You will be eager to take on any job, big or small, in order to progress your career and help the team.
* You are passionate, motivated and extremely creative with lots of ideas. You are not afraid to take on new challenges and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, over multiple projects at one time.
* You have a passion for culture and all things design, with knowledge of different design styles and clear visual reference points which you use in your work.
* You have the calmness to manage multiple jobs of varying size, to deliver consistently and to a high standard.
* You will have a good knowledge of the Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign as well as basic tools such as Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
What does the job involve?
This is an exciting and wide-ranging role and will include the following:
* Designing and art working a wide range of marketing communication materials both online and offline- from websites, landing pages and banner ads through to brochures and exhibition panels.
* Assisting the design team with branding projects where in time you will be given the full responsibility for a smaller branding project.
* Implementing and art working approved concepts for our larger projects, including the creation of different logo formats.
* Working with an approved branding concept to create a set of brand guidelines.
