We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and experience Bar Manager that has a great ability to not own run a busy bar but to ensure every guest leaves feeling like royalty. This role is not just a Bar Manager that can pour a drink, it's a Bar Manager that can host the room and wow everyone with their great product knowledge.
The right candidate is needs to be passionate about what they do. You must walk in with a smile that never leaves you, an aura of dedication that shows you care and the customer service skills to back all of that up. You will need an in depth understanding of how a busy, high end bar works. Experience in a 4-star environment will be essential to you ensuring your standards always remain at there highest. If you are used to just pouring pints and spirts then this role isn't your size. If you're happy and feel comfortable surrounded by malt whiskeys and vintage wines then this may well be your dream.
* The role is advertised as GBP25,000 based on 48 Hours
* 5 days working including evening and weekends with 2 days off together (depending on business needs)
* Mixture of shifts lengths, but minimal, if any splits
* Work focused on the evenings due to the host part of the job

Your Duties:
* Managing entire bars department and training of staff to maintain excellent levels of service and customer care
* Monitoring of stock levels and ordering when appropriate
* Knowledge of daily hotel functions and organising the bar's involvement in them
* Ensure all cellars and service areas are immaculately clean
* Maintain good liaison, communication and working relationships with management, the kitchen team and all other departments of the hotel
* Maximising revenue for the bars department and adhering to target
* Working with the bars team to generate new ideas and grow new revenue
Essential:
* Previous experience in a high-end establishment
* Must be a people person with high customer service standards
* Ability to host
* Exceptional product knowledge
* 4- & 5-Star experience essential
