Our client has a challenging and rewarding opening for industry experienced individuals looking to forge a rewarding career as a test and installation engineer.
Focusing on high-tech material transfer technology you will be tasked with undertaking numerous rigorous tests - these are likely to be software/hardware focused, in addition to encompassing an element of electronics and vacuum testing. Your goal is to ensure our client's high tech material transfer technology is fit for purpose - prior to travelling on a world-wide basis in order to install/re-test the technology and undertaking user training!
Applications are invited from candidates with a solid grounding in physics/engineering and/or electronics/(bio)chemistry - knowledge of vacuum technology and/or sputtering would be beneficial. Successful candidates will have a further scientific qualification (MSc or PhD) with exemplary fault-finding and hands-on electromechanical skills. This vibrant and progressive company insists employees embrace the concept of "company envoy" - as such exemplary communication and team skills are vital.
You must be willing to spend around 20% of your time travelling globally.
