An internationally recognised business specialising in the global and domestic door to door secure transportation of high valuable goods is seeking an HR Generalist to join its rapidly expanding team based in Worksop. The company is well known for its integrity and consultative approach with banks, financial institutions, governments, mines, diamond cutters, jewellery manufacturers and retailers worldwide, protecting their assets while optimizing their business operations.

This HR Generalist role involves providing full support to the global HR business partner, with overall global responsibility for the administration and co-ordination of the HR function, as well as offering support the business across the globe!

General human resources duties:

- Keeping files up to date.
- Delivering the company induction programme.
- Producing necessary paperwork for employee contractual changes and personal detail changes.
- Monitoring probation, annual leave and sickness reporting.
- Offering support with employee relations issues where required.
- Ensuring that exit interviews are carried out for leavers.
- Updating employee records (database and paper files) as appropriate.
- Informing payroll of any employee changes / reports / updates / leavers.
- Setting up systems and records to file, organise and retain key employee information.
- Using initiative to identify areas for improvement in the structure, systems or processes.
- Setting up B / F systems to log pension enrolment, private.
- Medical healthcare enrolment and probation.
- Preparing reference requests letters.
- Facilitating the centralisation of employee data from all regional offices.
- Fulfilling all other duties and tasks as required by the business partner within the scope of capabilities.

Generalist recruitment duties:

- Preparing internal and external adverts in line with best practice.
- Posting vacancies on company intranet, website and social media and managing applications, regrets and associated queries.
- Liaising with employment agencies and recruiters as directed.
- Liaising with hiring managers to ensure correct procedures, authorisation and job description are carried out.
- Maintaining and updating recruitment activity log.
- Screening interviews and psychometric testing.
- Preparing offer letters, contracts and associated paperwork as required.
- Advising and leading line managers through the recruitment process.
- Monitoring probationary periods.
- Responsibility for ensuring all induction material is facilitated when new employees join.

To be a successful HR Generalist you will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience of working in human resources, preferably in a global capacity.
- Good knowledge of human resources, part or fully CIPD qualified, or relevant business-related degree required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of employees and managers on an international scale.
- Be comfortable working with ambiguity and independently using own initiative.
- Act with integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Able to respond positively and enthusiastically to change.
- Good written and spoken Mandarin or Thai would be highly desirable!

In return, the Generalist will receive a salary of GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 per annum, depending on experience and includes benefits of generous pension, life assurance and enhanced annual leave.

Any gaps where you haven\'t been in employment or education must be verified to understand how you were supporting yourself. You must also have a clear criminal record check (Subject to the rehabilitation of Offenders Act) and a clear credit check. You will be required to satisfactorily clear these standards. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
