JOB TITLE: HR Officer - Maternity Cover
THE ROLE
An excellent opportunity for a HR professional used to working at senior level in HR and with all round skills to make a valuable contribution to all aspects of operational HR. This will include recruitment and project work in a dynamic environment working for a successful and growing organisation. Ideally working towards or having completed CIPD Level 7.
The role will cover:
- Providing guidance and support to managers in employee relations, employment law, disciplinary and grievance.
- Supporting and delivering recruitment campaigns.
- Development / project work around HR related issues.
- Ensuring the accuracy of HR records and data including payroll.
THE CANDIDATE:
To apply for this role you should be a confident and motivated individual, able to make sound decisions independently when required but enjoying working as part of a professional and dedicated team.
In addition to experience in the above areas you should have:
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
- Recruitment campaign experience.
- Strong, current understanding of employment law and HR practice and their application in the workplace.
- Ability to coach and advise line managers in a range of HR issues.
- Good IT skills including the use of HR systems.
- High level of attention to detail and strong all-round communication skills.
There is a possibility of working 4 days a week in this role within organisational requirements
