A fantastic opportunity to join this award winning local client who has become a market leader within their industry!!!
Due to growth they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their established team. You will be office based but you will need to travel within your Geographical area managing existing clients and seeking new business and visiting clients from appointments will be made by the team in the office. This will be 2-3 days a week. Part of the role will also be to attend networking events. This is a consultative sales role proving solutions to clients within the legal and financial services.
You should have at least 2-5 years Business Development Experience within a client facing role, be ambitious, self-motivated and driven.
If you come from a financial services, Insurance, Banking Sales or Technical sales this would be advantageous.
A fantastic base salary of £27k, rising plus a realistic OTE of 45-50k and career progression is offered. Full expenses for travel will also be paid.
You must have your own car.
Your designated patch will be London central, North, SW, SE, E.
Training will be in Caterham Office, in Surrey for your induction training for the 1st 2-4 weeks.

Your Key responsibilties will be to:
Research and generate new prospects by cold calling and arranging face to face meetings.
Using an extensive CRM database; the applicant is expected to contact warm leads, inactive clients and users of our debt recovery service to generate new business.
Maintain and develop a portfolio of active customers through individual account support and training presentations to increase awareness of our services; liaising with internal departments to deliver a swift and effective proposition.
Develop ideas and campaigns to target new sectors and services to increase revenue.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email and telephone; up-selling vacant property security to complement our core services.
Effective time management and report on activities to provide Management Information.
Take ownership of personal development, industry awareness and product knowledge
Assist marketing team with profitable activities including seminars and exhibitions.
Attend sales meetings and training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
You will need to have:
Good spoken and written communication skills
Cold and warm lead generation telephone/email/face-to-face
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good `people skills` for working with a range of colleagues and clients
The ability to think outside the box and upsell an opportunity
A willingness to travel away from home (overnight dependent upon territory)
A professional and energetic manner
Good business sense and the ability to work within budgets
Adeptness for extensive enforcement knowledge
