Sales & Technical Support Engineer

Salary ranges fromGBP22-GBP25k per annum based on experience plus commission, possible OTE up to GBP35K plus excellent benefits

Packaged Pumps Systems Ltd is the market leader for the manufacturing and servicing of pumps stations for basement applications. We have a reputation for excellent customer service thanks to our skilled professional team based at our Head Office in Bishops Stortford.

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join us as Sales and Technical Support Engineer working as part of a small and experienced Sales and Technical Support team. This is a varied role and will involve interaction with all departments in our business.The main requirements of the role will be to:

• Producing quotations and specifications from engineering drawings.

• Follow up quotations to order placement

• Provide technical support to customers, Consulting Engineers and Architects.

• Oversee technical documentation including operation and maintenance manuals.

• Provide support internal service staff and external service/installation Engineers

• Building strong relationships with customers to enable solution selling

We are seeking motivated and customer focused individuals with a passion for getting the job done to an excellent standard. Whilst previous experience in the Pump Industry is not essential candidates should ideally possess an Engineering degree or have equivalent experience and have an excellent eye for detail. The job does not involve cold calling or hard selling but candidates will be expected to identify and promote solution selling to customers.

The role is a full-time position from 09:00am to 05:30pm Monday to Thursday (09:00am to 05:00pm Friday) with up to an hour break for lunch. In addition to the base salary, we offer 33 days' annual leave (including bank holidays), pension, life insurance and on-site parking if required.
