We are currently working with a fantastic national care provider in the Keighley area to find them the ideal support worker for their care service. As a support worker, you would take the lead in the day to day care and organisation within a supported living service for an adult on the autism spectrum. This service is an interactive service where you are encouraged to build a strong rapport with the service user, enabling him to achieve his short term and long term goals. As a support worker, you will be responsible for all elements of care, from accessing the community to personal care.

The service operates on a 24 hours basis, so you must be flexible with regards with regards to your availability. Weekdays, weekends and sleep ins are all part of the job description. While flexible working arrangements can be put in place for those who need it, our client and their staff team all share the ethos of doing their bit, so you must be willing to muck in. There are also temp to perm roles available.

What do you need to apply?

- At least 6 months paid permanent work experience with Autism
- Flexibility in terms of the days and hours you can work
- An outgoing and interactive personality
