Business Support Administration

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Business Support Administration. This is a contract role based in Reading until the end of June 2019.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £27,500 per annum, plus benefits

Through partnerships with business groups and working with countries/regions throughout the world, Procurement reduces the overall cost of business for our company.
This role is part of the Supplier Management Group within Procurement and will provide a combination of administrative and business support to the Supplier Management Group Leadership Team and the global team of 26 as well as the wider Procurement Team.
Responsibilities
A typical day in this role can include:
" Provide complex calendar and time management support for the Leadership Team.
" Provide travel management support including making flight, hotel and car rental/taxi bookings as well as applying for visas and passports in a timely manner. Plan, book, schedule and prepare full briefing documentation.
" Manage the ROB calendar and schedule individual and team meetings. Arrange all logistical requirements such as conference rooms, AV and catering.
" Help manage the team.
" Manage team mailing lists: Handle the memberships for all distribution groups.
" Send out a bi-monthly team eNewsletter.
" Coordinate morale team events such as Christmas lunch, volunteering days and team dinners.
" Provide support to the Business Manager for any ad hoc projects, presentations, events.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
" Two years proven experience in a senior administration role
" Experience working within a global organisation across multiple time zones
" Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
" Confident, enthusiastic and proactive individual with a "can-do" attitude who can work alone, or as part of a team. The strength of the person's skills will allow them to hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Fluent in verbal and written English
