Administration Assistant
Our clients are looking for Administration Assistants at their Hemel International site who would be interested in working for a multi customer, market leading Logistics Company on a permanent basis.

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with preferably an advanced knowledge of JDA to join a fast-paced and challenging admin environment. To provide system and administrative support for the various functions within the Administration team and adhere to operating process and procedures, in particular to help ensure compliance to customs standards and export documentation
The Role:
- Liaise with all administration functions, security, warehouse & warehouse management team as appropriate
- Close liaison with the customer & other external key relationships as appropriate
- Data entry onto computerised & manual systems
- Provide support in all areas of the site where admin assistance is required
- Build relationships with the senior site management team
Bookings:
- Accurate & timely completion of paperwork and other legal documentation
- Planning & booking of vehicles
- Regular contact with freight forwarders
- Produce dangerous goods notes for freight forwarders & maintain and keep records of freight forwarder performance
- Ensure freight forwarders comply with all security requirements
Customs
- Accurate & timely completion of paperwork & other legal documentation
- Data entry and interrogation of systems such as EXIT, SPEX, NES, IFOS & Duty master
- Regular contact with Customs and Excise, Chamber of Commerce & Bell Davis
Helpdesk
- Handle all customer contacts, raise logs of calls & distribute to appropriate staff
- Maintain regular customer contact
- Co-ordination of all service failure queries and logs
- Liaising with management team to ensure excellent customer relations
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in an administration role, preferably within a customs environment
- PC literate, with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and JDA
- Good communication skills and proven ability to work well within a team
- Strong eye for detail
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Flexible approach to working hours and shifts (rotational early and late shifts)
