Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP30,000 (depending in skills and experience)

Our client, a UK leading multi-disciplinary planning and design consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Town Planner to join their established Manchester office. The successful Town Planner will benefit from working as part of a friendly and experienced team renowned for providing expert support and guidance to assist with continued career development.

Qualifications and Experience:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates who are MRTPI qualified (or who are working towards this), proven experience working within the planning sector and strong project management experience.

Responsibilities:

- Promoting large and medium scale residential, commercial and mixed use developments through the Local Development Framework

- Conducting research and site appraisals on projects

- Preparing, submitting and negotiating planning applications

- Developing client relationships

- Lodging appeals
