Temporary Accounts Clerk – Accounts Section (Ref: 655)
The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is the UK's fifth largest and fastest growing trade union, with over 430,000 members.
A vacancy exists for a Temporary Accounts Clerk based in the Accounts Section at the Union’s Central Office in Manchester. The vacancy is temporary for a period of up to 12 months.
The position is Grade 1, salary range £22,281 pa rising to £26,297 pa after 4 years’ service.

Principal duties are: to be responsible for purchase ledger input including staff and members' expenses.
The successful applicant will possess: IT literacy; numeracy skills; basic accountancy skills, the ability to balance accounts; good interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines; some previous experience of accounts systems would be an advantage.
The closing date is noon on Wednesday, 26 September 2018.
