HGV Technicians

We are recruiting for several experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians for and on behalf of our client. The role is essentially workshop based and you will have ideally come from a busy dealership, fleet, transport or have worked in a busy garage / workshop environment
You Must
Be suitably qualified to C&G / NVQL3 or equivalent
Have good experience of maintenance and repair schedules with HGV , Trucks or PSV's
Full UK driving license (preferably clean no endorsements)
Heavy Good License (Class 1 or Class 2 preferred, not essential)
The Role
Work as part of a busy team
Maintenance, repair, service, inspections on all commercial vehicle types
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and tools
MOT preparation's / tests on vehicles
Complete scheduled PPM repairs and reactive work
The Hours
There are varied shift patterns available to suit the individual as follows
1) Based on a 42 hr week Wed 1pm - 7pm & Mon to Sat 7am to 7pm
2) Based on a 48 hr week Night shift Tuesday to Friday 7pm to 7am
3) Mon to Fri rotating early/lates with Sat am based on 40 hr pw
On call rota basis
Unlimited overtime is avaialble / optional

There are also additional overtime premiums & call out enhancements on top of the basic salary
