Our Client is recruiting for a successful and driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding and award-winning team. The Business Development Manager will hold responsibility for developing and delivering on an annual territory sales plan for the South, specifically in the Health and safety sector, through the creation, development and conversion of an active sales pipeline in a B2B environment.
About the role:
- Working closely with the Head of Sales HSE to develop an annual territory sales plan
- Work closely with marketing to deliver relevant campaigns focused on lead generation
- Assume full accountability for the follow-up of active leads to build a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Lead all communications with potential clients to maximise new business conversion from a volume and value perspective
- Build strong relationships across the HSE business to ensure effective mobilisation of new business
- Meet and exceed new business targets on a quarterly basis
- Meet and exceed KPI targets to ensure desirable revenue generation and behaviours that are consistent with a sustainable business
- Become a key member of the sales team, encouraging effective teamwork in order that team targets can be met and exceeded on a sustainable basis
