Insole Court Director
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to shape the future of a newly restored Grade 2* listed Mansion and Stable Block set in Grade 2* registered gardens at the heart of the community in Llandaff, Cardiff.

We are seeking an all-rounder, someone who can hit the ground running, who is confident and demonstrates leadership and strategic management skills. Most of all, we are looking for someone who can rise to the considerable challenge of leading the renewed Insole Court, and safeguarding its future.

Insole Court has a fascinating history and stands as a very rare survival of its type in an urban environment. The buildings have been restored as part of a £4m lottery-funded project that will safeguard the future of the estate as a heritage asset of national importance. The renewed Insole Court is unique to both Cardiff and Wales with dedicated interpretation spaces in the House for heritage visitors, and a range of community facilities in the Stable Block including a Visitor Centre, Tea Room, and learning and activity spaces. The site now currently welcomes over 10,000 visitors per month, and is becoming a much loved part of Cardiff's cultural landscape.

Reporting to the Trustees, you will have overall responsibility for the success and long-term sustainability of Insole Court. This is a hands-on role that will require initiative, flexibility, strong communication and problem-solving skills and a commitment to results.
