My client manages a very well established and prestigious printing company in Waterlooville. They are looking a for creative individual to join their small and professional PC based artwork team. If you have good knowledge of graphic software and would like to train within the print industry, then this position could be ideal for you.
The main job responsibilities for the Creative Artworker are -
- Checking customer artwork meets production specifications.
- Laying out customer artwork for proofing.
- Preparing customer artwork for production.
- Recreation of customer designs for large format printing.
- Creating customer's artwork from a specification.
- Liaising with customers in ref to their artwork.
- Liaising with the print team to ensure output is correct and accurate.
- Liaising with the sales team to advise on artwork specifics.
The ideal Creative Artworker will -
- Have good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Have good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Have good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Have a creative flair and design skills.
- Be a strong team player with a positive work ethos.
- Have good communication skills.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 09.00am to 17.00pm with half an hour lunch. In return you will be offered a salary of GBP18,000kpa, 23.5 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a workplace pension.
