We are currently recruiting for a kitchen assistant/porter to assist in the cleaning of all practical areas and catering equipment, and to ensure that the kitchen, classrooms and stores are maintained to a high standard to meet the learning requirements of students.  You will assist Lead Administrator - Food & Beverage in preparing resources for practical sessions and supporting the delivery of the curriculum.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a food/kitchen environment. You will be able to work alone as well as part of a team, and be able to perform the physical aspects of the role as described in the key tasks of the job description. Ideally you will have a basic food hygiene certificate and manual handling training. Knowledge of COSHH, a wide range of food preparation equipment and experience of food safety management systems are desirable.
