Skills for Care, on behalf of Skills for Care and Development and the Federation of Sector Skills and Standards, is the certificating body for Adult Social Care apprentices and Children and Young People’s apprentices. It is our responsibility to check that the evidence submitted is correct and issue certificates within set timescales and criteria.
Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Certification Assistant to join our Certification Team issuing apprentices with their Certificate of Achievement. The main purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient certification service by accurately reviewing, proof reading and verifying high volumes of data and operating within specific timescales. You will need to be able to work quickly, methodically and with attention to detail under timeline pressure with a high degree of accuracy. This role involves reaching set targets on a daily basis in order to meet service level agreements.
Providing excellent customer service to training providers and communicating effectively with the system support team at the Federation of Sector Skills and Standards is also a key feature of this role. The successful candidate will require strong communication skills and some experience working in a customer service environment.
