Finance Assistant / Sales Ledger.  Full time. 1 year fixed term position

We are seeking a Finance Assistant who is looking for a varied role in a busy Finance team where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and technical abilities.  Working as part of our Sales Ledger/Credit Control team you will be involved in invoicing and the collection of income, using a computerised accounts system and dealing with customers by phone.

Excellent verbal communication skills are a must and you will have an eye for detail, be process driven and able to demonstrate high levels of integrity and confidentiality, with close attention to detail.  You will be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines with accuracy and speed.   The successful candidate will have Minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent) as well as a minimum Level 2 qualification in IT and / or equivalent Microsoft Word/Excel experience.

Some relevant experience within a finance environment would be desirable but full training will be provided.
