Our client operates an award winning apprenticeship programme which is helping many young people find different routes into work.
Working as part of our clients Energy Team, based in Kidderminster, you will be mentored by a fully qualified electrician and gain experience for all areas of their business including installation, repairs and maintenance.
They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join their organisation. You will train as an electrical apprentice and carry out a variety of duties including the installation and repair of:
- domestic electrical circuits
- smoke detectors
- public lighting
- electric fires and storage heaters
- electrical cookers
A keen interest in electrics and an aptitude for practical and physical work is essential. You will be required to work towards a Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance Apprenticeship and be responsible for meeting college deadlines in order to achieve within the 4 year period.
You will need good literacy and numeracy skills and have achieved at least a C or above in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent). Some work experience in construction would be an advantage.
