IT Desktop Support
I'm looking for an enthusiastic, and experienced, desktop support professional to join a dynamic team. The company is in an exciting stage of its growth and provides an opportunity to develop within the team. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the role is office based and could involve some travel. The individual will have a drive for continual learning.
The successful candidate will support the goals of the business. They will be able to work across a broad range of technologies and liaise with key stakeholders to resolve incidents, problems and requests in an efficient and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be both pro-active and reactive. There is a requirement to spend up to 5 days per month on site at our office in Lancaster.
Responsibilities and Duties
" Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
" Purchase, Install and configure desktops and other devices and peripherals.
" Take Ownership of issues through to resolution.
" Implement temporary or permanent resolutions to problems with the aim of restoring service to the Stakeholder as soon as possible.
" Escalate incidents to Manager or external support where necessary.
" Creation of users on the active directory / Exchange.
" Maintain telephone systems (VOIP).
" Order and maintain peripherals such Printers, scanners, Mobile Phones.
" Identify, Log and resolve support calls in timely manner.
