Due to a promotion within the team an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Business Partner to work for a reputable client based North of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
This role will give you global exposure across an extremely interesting business. You will be regularly interacting with the CFO, department heads and even the CEO.
Main Responsibilities:
Reviewing revenue & cost, working with shared services, to ensure the accuracy of the monthly accounts
Providing insightful reporting and analysis to key business partners, ensuring accuracy & timeliness
Fully understand all movements in actuals, budgets & forecasts
Be able to provide accurate & astute commentary to explain variances in performance
Assemble the monthly business reviews for senior leadership and develop key messaging for all stakeholders
Build a good knowledge of the business operations and good working relationships with business partners
Highlight & challenge areas of improvement to drive optimal business performance, maximising opportunities and mitigating risks
Provide commercial support by providing revenue and cost analysis, utilising all data available to maximise insight and improve decision making
Accurate budgeting/forecasting of revenue & costs, understanding the drivers of the cost base & accurately reflecting changes in financial performance based on known projects & initiatives
Supporting the Capital Expenditure process:
Review & challenge capital expenditure requirements and support the financial business case completion, including return on investment and pay-back analysis
Track & forecast capital expenditure for input to cash flow forecasting
Reviewing & developing processes, systems & data:
Support & drive the development of internal process to enhance accuracy & decision making
Establish efficient reporting tools & analysis to provide timely insight to the business

Newly qualified / Qualified Finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Previous Management accounts and/or FP&A experience
Advanced systems skills (Essential: MS Excel & Powerpoint, Desirable: Hyperion/Microsoft AX)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong influencing, networking and team working skills
Previous exposure to working with & influencing senior management
