Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an Executive Administrator. This is a contract role based in Reading for 18 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £30,000 - £31,800 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

As part of the Business Productivity Domain in EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), you will provide key aspects of administrative, project and initiative support to members of the Leadership team.
A typical day in this role can include:
" Calendar Management
" Attend meetings, take notes/actions as required, distribute and follow up
" Help to plan and drive the annual Rhythm of the Business (RoB), including setting up online meetings in accordance with the RoB
" Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics, including visas
" Meeting and event planning and manage both onsite and offsite locations
" Assist with scheduling and operation of regular internal governance meetings as part of new business approvals
" Creation and proof-reading of internal communications
" Assist in managing the budget for new computer hardware purchases and device refresh
" Expenses Management plus purchasing and processing invoices
" Ensure compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures
" Complete projects under limited direction from manager or other administrative staff, manage frequent contact with all levels of employees and managers, as well as contact with internal and external suppliers
The ideal candidate will be:
" Experience of administrative assistant experience, preferred
" Proficiency with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint
A successful candidate will have demonstrated work experience supporting a General Manager or Senior Executive and team in a fast-paced environment, with strong planning, organisational and time management skills. The candidate should be flexible, have the ability to work independently, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and prioritise among multiple projects with a dynamically changing workload.
Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to maintain a cool and focused persona under pressure, maintain professional and positive interactions with others and be able to establish professional relationships and credibility with all internal and external contacts. Ideally the candidate would have experience working directly in an EMEA and/or worldwide business environment, have experience of working with diverse cultures and across time zones, and would be familiar with providing both local and remote administrative support.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Minimum of 5 years of administrative assistant experience, preferred
" Desirable - Knowledge of internal MS business tools, such as Concur, MS Expense, MyOrder, FIM.
" Effective verbal and written communication skills required
" Exceptional ability to organise
" Analytic and proactive
