Assistant Finance Manager
GBP35,000 to GBP40,000

Venatu Finance are working in partnership with our client an established company with a client base across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK. They have an exciting vacancy for an Assistant Finance Manager.
You will be a pivotal part of a small finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
The Role:
* Preparation of companies monthly and annual management accounts
* Co-ordinating the aspects of the accounts function towards month end
* Monitoring and controlling the cash availability alongside the Head of Finance
* Supervise the finance team including Direct & Indirect reports
* All companies VAT returns
* Forecasting for various companies
* Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Update the Fixed Asset Registers monthly & calculate Depreciation charges
* Liaise with the auditors at year end including production of tax packs
* Assist with stock management
The Person:
* Be ACA/CIMA/ACCA part or fully qualified accountant or be qualified by experience
* Have experience of producing management accounts
* Have excellent Excel skills preferably to macro level
* Be able to demonstrate good reconciliation and analysis skills
* Ability to talk finance with none finance stakeholders - internally & externally
* Ability to manage a small team & be a team player
