A Software Developer is required to work with an engineering company who specialise in the process control industry.
You will be responsible for designing solutions, testing, releasing and commisioning existing Visual Basic and C# .NET applications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and implementation of PC based GUI schemes using Visual Basic, C#, SQL Server software applications.
* Development and improvement of new & existing software solutions
* Testing & debugging of software applications
* Supporting external customers & systems
Experience Required:
* Experience of implementing Visual Basic 6, C#.NET, WPF, SQL Database software applications
* Good knowledge of hardware/software level interfacing
* Implementation of communications protocols (TCP/???IP, serial communication, OPC etc.)
* Good analytical and development skills
* Ideally degree level qualification in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar.
