Ivory Jacobs are on the hunt for an Internal Recruiter for one of our longest standing client based in Portsmouth.
Our client are an established brand with over 100+ consultants across the board, not including the office in New York! They specialise within a number of different areas such as; Aerospace, Automation, Architecture, IT and Procurement etc. They split this up by putting them into their own brands.
Ideally the right candidate will have 2+ years' experience in an internal or 360 agency role and you understand the key points to managing the recruitment process.
I speak to a lot of candidates that want to stay in recruitment but wants to move away from sales - which yes, Internal Recruitment involves no sales. Here is a few pointers of what the role will involve;
* You will be managing internal processes with hiring managers, understanding requirements from each department (6 different departments, brands and styles of recruiting)
* Growing a network with experienced recruiters in your area - Meeting and interviewing candidates over the phone and face to face
* Working with candidates at all levels from Trainee's all the way up to Director level
* Understanding the business inside out, be able to qualify the right candidates for the right areas - Being organised is so key. Recruiters are probably the most difficult characters to deal with, we are sales people and can be extremely indecisive and demanding - just how we are I suppose!
* Be able to spot talent from someone with NO experience
* Resilience (dealing with recruiters can be very demanding at times)
