I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Hertfordshire who are looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join them for an initial 6 month contract, with the likely potential of extension. My client are willing to offer competitive rates for the right candidate and can offer flexible working arrangements.
About the role
You will be required to process major applications of around (Apply online only) units, comprising of mostly rural and Green Belt applications with some urban cases. You will also be expected to assist more Junior members of staff with more complex minor applications.

The Successful Candidate
You will ideally be MRTPI accredited and must hold a degree relative to Town Planning. You should also have proven experience working on similar projects in the UK and knowledge to hit the ground running with little to no supervision.
