An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Nottinghamshire Integrated Recovery Service, for the role of Engagement and Workshop Support Worker within our County South team.  The base for this team is within our Hucknall site, however outreach work will be carried out across Rushcliffe, Gedling and Broxtowe.

The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of group work delivery and working within substance misuse services. They will require excellent communication and engagement skills, and will deliver a range of interventions including, assessments, risk assessments and risk management and recovery plans, also delivering structured group work interventions, and outreach support.  Enabling and empowering service users to build their own recovery capital, and support them into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.

They will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to support adult service users entering into and moving through integrated recovery oriented substance misuse services.  Increasing opportunities for service users, enabling them to achieve and sustain positive treatment outcomes.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include evening and weekend working.
