Mpeople Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper needed for a well-established, growing company inthe Cheadle area of Stockport. The role will consist of all aspects of all transactional aspects as well as Management Accounts.
Part time 30 hours - Permanent
Salary - GBP25,000 -30,000 Pro Rata
Location - Cheadle, Stockport
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts and month end processing
- Transactional - Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Payment runs - BACS and cheques
- Credit Control - chase debt via phone, email and letter
- Payroll (Weekly and Monthly incorprating CIS)
- Accruals and prepayments
- Cash, bank and supplier statement reconciliations
- Resolving queries
- View to manage one other Accounts Admin in the future
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience within an Accounts environment
- Experience using Sage 50
- Knowledge or expereince of CIS in Construction is preferred
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work in a focused manner
- Fully competent with MS Word and Excel.
- Proven experience working to deadlines
The role is working in a small office team for an expanding company. The ideal candidate will be the sole Accounts person within the office. You should be friendly, self-motivated and confident in an all-round finance role with excellent organisational skills.
