An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Assistant to work in an established and innovative company. This is a pivotal role providing advice to all employees and encompasses employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and other generalist HR duties. In addition, you will be required to process the payroll. We are seeking candidates who are keen to develop their HR knowledge and skills and who have the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities include:

+ Preparation and maintenance of job documentation, job evaluations and company salary structure systems
+ Assist in the recruitment process from job posting to issuing new starter documentation and onboarding
+ Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and escalate them to the management team as appropriate
+ HR Project Management
+ Organise and file confidential employee documents 
+ Assist with HR reporting
+ Implement and monitor Right to Work processes
+ Support employee engagement programmes including training and development

About you:

+ Significant experience in a similar HR role
+ May be working towards the Certificate in Human Resource Management
+ Payroll experience
+ Attention to detail
+ Excellent communication skills – written and oral
+ Confidential and discreet
+ Good at relationship building
+ Ability to report and analyse data
+ Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
