Property Management Admin - Reading

GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 per annum

Permanent role based in Reading

In order to be considered for this role you must be educated to GCSE level standard or above and will ideally have some experience or knowledge of minor works in domestic properties.
You must be a TEAM PLAYER with a strong background in ADMINISTRATION, an efficient telephone manner, the ability to work under sustained pressure to deadlines and great attention to detail.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative, very strong organisation and prioritisation skills, excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy, a strong client and customer focus and good influencing and negotiation skills.

A willingness to undertake continuous training and personal development will be required

This role is to assist the property manager in managing a portfolio of properties and to undertake the co-ordination of minor works.

• Responding to requests from lessees for minor works
• Liaising with lessees, contractors and surveyors
• The administration of minor works processes with record keeping, instructing contractors, progress chasing, diary keeping, correspondence, processing invoices and filing.
• Liaising with other colleagues and departments within the company
• Providing administrative support to the property manager when away
• Dealing with telephone calls, correspondence and any other support tasks as required
• Keeping a record of time charges
• Assisting with the posting of mail merges
• Any other tasks that may be reasonably required

You will need to have access to your own vehicle and be flexible to attend occasional evening meetings.
