Venatu Finance is working in partnership with our client in Huddersfield to source them a Company Accountant.
Are you commercially astute? Would you welcome the chance to work alongside a Managing Director? Could you aid managerial planning and commercial decision making by providing appropriate financial information?
The successful Company Accountant must ensure the day to day financial operations of the organisation are met, produce monthly financial and management accounts and advise the Managing Director about the financial implications of business decisions, to aid business growth and profit.
The Role:
Overview: ensuring day to day financial operations of the organisation are met, producing monthly financial and management accounts and advising the Managing Director accordingly on all matters financial. Asist in helping business achieve its plan of "20% growth per annum"!
Details:
* Preparing, reviewing and analysing the Management Accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance sheet.
* Assist in year-end process including audit and preparing statutory accounts.
* Responsible for weekly/daily bank recs, invoice payments, expenses, petty cash and debt collection.
* Reviewing of all payments.
* Preparing and submitting of all HMRC returns.
* Process payroll and company pension scheme.
* Company Forecasting and preparation of Budgets.
The Person:
* Minimum 3 years related experience as Company or Management Accountant
* Genuine interest in helping a business grow as well as Accountancy skills
* Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates, Part Qualified (CIMA or ACCA) candidates as well as fully qualified candidates are all welcome to apply
* Competence in all Microsoft Office systems including Excel
* Hands-on Attitude - you will be responsible for transactional as well as reporting duties
* Experience with Xero software is desirable but not essential
* Competence in all Microsoft Office systems
The Rewards:
