Plumbing Technician (Workshop, Assistant)
Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.
We are looking to appoint a Plumbing Technician to join us where you will provide technical support for teaching staff and Instructor Demonstrators. The role is a permanent, full time position, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year based at the Queens Gardens site.
Within the role you will support student learning and will provide a safe working environment. Preparing equipment and materials for students within the practical workspace environment, you will maintain stock and stores in an efficient manner, and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of many workshop tools and equipment.
We are looking for someone who has recent and relevant experience of plumbing, coupled with a knowledge and understanding of various qualifications within this area. With Maths and English to Level 2 and an NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in plumbing or a relevant subject, you will be able to motivate students and will have excellent communication skills.
