Do you have the gravitas & proven OJEU strategic sourcing & category management experience to deliver best practice outsourced FM procurement services in a client facing Procurement Consultancy capacity for our public sector client in London?

This is a great opportunity to join the UKs leading provider of services to local government in a Procurement Consultancy role specialising in Facilities Management (FM) Procurement. Our client help councils to improve efficiency, provide better services and become more commercially sustainable. This works through a variety of frameworks, service agreements, commercial partnerships, shared services and joint venture companies. They cover all local government operations; from customer management, HR and property development to back office processing, administration and IT. Join them in this exciting Senior Procurement Consultancy role and you'll be part of a team providing a full range of back office, middle office and customer facing services.

About the role:

As Senior Procurement Consultant (FM), you will deliver a range of procurement activities to our client's local government client; The nature of each assignment will vary dependent on the contractual requirements but may include: Opportunity Assessment, Savings Delivery and Programmes, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Relationship Management, Transformation, Project and Programme Management.

What you will do:

?? Utilise tools and methodologies alongside specialist knowledge to deliver compliant procurement processes, procurement projects, transformation and change.

?? Utilise creativity and innovations to deliver maximum value improvements and benefits to clients.

?? Create effective working relationships with stakeholders and senior client sponsors to deliver allocated projects, anticipating and responding to client requirements, influencing change, managing conflicts and issues and escalating to senior colleagues when required.

?? Undertake Opportunity Assessment Reviews, business cases and project mandates to identify savings opportunities through engagement with stakeholders and data analysis.

?? Identification and delivery of strategic savings initiatives across areas of project responsibility.

?? Deliver client focussed benefits realisation processes and overarching governance.

?? Deploy contract management and SRM principles to deliver effective performance management and continuous improvement for clients where applicable.

?? Leading and managing a category management approach to the Procurement of a specified portfolio expenditure (Corporate; Street Scene) to deliver savings for the Council.

Your experience will include:

?? MCIPS qualified or working towards or holds other relevant business qualification.

?? Demonstrable experience at delivering projects within a local government setting with experience of Construction, FM, Maintenance and Waste Services.

?? Demonstrable experience of OJEU and delivering savings to a public sector organisation through effective category management

?? Demonstrates track record of developing and maintaining stakeholder and supplier relationships.

?? Will have worked in a complex and changing environment with demanding business objectives and in a highly competitive market sector.

?? Able to support on procurement process development to meet best practice developments;
