We are working with an amazingly successful Design and Installation company, with a prestigious and growing client base.
To support the growth and future strategic development of the company, we are searching for NIGHT SHIFT CNC OPERATORS with wood work and furniture factory skills to lead small teams within the existing Production and Manufacturing team in their state of the art warehouse production based in Hertfordshire.
Although initially, the Night Shift CNC Production Operative role is a temporary position, there is every possibility to move into a permanent role and become an integral part of the development of this successful company.
You'll be part of a team manufacturing high quality panel doors for bespoke wooden cupboards, lockers and office furniture for corporate clients across the UK and beyond.
Night Shift - CNC Production Operative - Daily Role:
•Leading a small unit to ensure that work is scheduled to produce optimum output by
the Operatives.
•Working in the Production area to manage daily order requirements;
•Working to specific Job cards;
•Cutting panels for either flat pack deliveries or fully made up;
•Programming and working with machinery -
•CNC Drills, Beam Saws, Edge Banders;
•Adjusting machine settings as required; Checking for mistakes or faults;
•Working in the warehouse to get the deliveries loaded and out;
•Maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
Night Shift - CNC Production Operative - Ideal Candidate:
•Experienced CNC Operators using Wood Work / Furniture Factory Experience
•Willingness to work nights
•CNC drills, Beam Saws Ideally you have worked in a similar production environment,
•Used to working to deadlines, able to lead and being part of the team
•Familiar with the production line and machinery - CNC, Beam Saws, Edge Binders etc.
•A can-do attitude, happy to meet deadlines.
•Excellent time management
