Our client has an opportunity for an HR Advisor to work as an integral part of the HR team, supporting the achievement of Company objectives by delivering a comprehensive and value-added HR service, ensuring corporate policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently in line with current legislation and Group values.

Key Accountabilities
??To provide a broad generalist HR service, delivered with pace, pragmatism and commercial thinking
??Promote standardisation and consistency in the application of HR process across the Clevedon site
??By adopting a collaborative and coaching approach, drive a culture of management ownership of people, plans and goals
??Maintain and regularly report management information on ER cases, issues and trends.
??Manage internal relationships and promptly respond to queries and manage expectations.
??Support with grievance, disciplinary capability investigations and hearings.
??Work closely with the wider HR team on an on-going basis to monitor, review and update policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
??When necessary support other areas with the HR function, in particular HR Administration, Resourcing and Learning and Development
??Provide advisory support to line managers and employees on all HR matters, supporting employee relations and promoting positive working practices
??Manage all stages of formal processes and procedures
??Promote and support professional and effective recruitment methods providing advice and support as needed
??Ensure effective onboarding for new starters from induction to reviews and training plans
??Proactive partnering with line managers in tackling performance challenges during probationary period.
??Manage all Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) activity and all employee relations matters.
??Review Performance Appraisal and Goal setting data, identify trends and convert to added value recommended action plans.
??Partner with HRM in identifying local L&D solutions. Deliver L&D workshops interchangeably with the HR team.
??Assist HRM with annual Performance Management and Goal Setting cycle.
??Assist HRM with annual Talent Management project
??Review New Hire Survey data, identify trends and convert to added value recommended action plans.
??Review Exit Survey data, identify trends and convert to added value recommended action plans.
??Assist HRM with specific ad-hoc projects subject to local needs.
??Support various Company special events or programs and assist the HR team with HR projects as assigned.
To produce, monitor and communicate HR metrics/trends for the site and to make recommendations/initiate action to ensure ongoing improvements.
Education & Qualifications. Knowledge and Experience
??Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or relevant professional qualification
??Demonstrable knowledge of employment law with ability to translate this into operational reality
??Significant HR Generalist experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution environment. Candidates with a HR degree in HR are strongly preferred.
??Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as solid presentation skills. Demonstrable experience in advising across all areas of HR generalist remit.
??Ability to build relationships with peers, managers and team colleagues.
??Ability to actively and skilfully analyse and evaluate information to produce HR output in a timely manner.
??Ability to multi-task in complex working environment with accuracy and proficiency.
??High degree of confidentiality and attention to detail.
??Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of various HR tools and systems would be advantageous.
Role is reporting to HR Manager, based at Clevedon. Some support to Bolton so occasional travel.
