Reservations & Operations Executive – Australia and New Zealand BLUR70992
Goudhurst, Kent
Salary £25,000 per annum (OTE £30,000 per annum)
Our client are experts in camping and caravanning. They provide people with the necessary information to allow them to make an informed decision about their holiday destination. They work with campsites across Europe and in all countries, including the UK, and whether it’s a large, family-friendly holiday park or a smaller campsite that is perfect for a quiet escape, we help people find the best option for them.
They are looking for a Reservations & Operations Executive to deal with enquiries and advise members and customers on the best holiday options for them.
Developing a full understanding of the Worldwide product, confidently advising customers on their holiday options, you will act as a key point of contact from initial enquiry, booking and payment right through to making the necessary travel, hotel and transfer arrangements for their holidays and assisting customers pre and post departure. You must ensure all bookings and customer details are accurately recorded and that the appropriate documentation is sent. The Reservations & Operations Executive will also liaise with suppliers to make and confirm bookings, prepare holiday documentation and ticketing and where necessary, handle and resolve customer complaints.
So if you have a genuine passion for travel and have previous travel sales experience, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual who has a flexible attitude to working in a dynamic environment, working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be able to adapt well to new systems and procedures as and when required, and be able to deal with a range of tasks with conflicting priorities. A friendly yet professional telephone manner is a must, as is experience of customer care, complaint handling and complaint resolution.
Essential destination knowledge to include Australia and/or New Zealand, whilst knowledge of other destinations such as USA, Canada and Southern Africa would be beneficial, as would experience of booking long haul flights and stopovers.
Due to the rural location of the company, it is likely you will require your own car to commute to and from work.
