LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.

Marketing & Communications Assistant

37.5 hours per week -

Maternity cover, up to 12 months

£19,700 to £21,582 per annum

(dependent upon experience)

This exciting role will support the Marketing and Communications Manager and the team, to deliver effective administrative support to all marketing and communication activities.

As well as providing efficient office co-ordination, you will support the production of the LOROS magazine and other communications. You will also support national awareness raising weeks, for example, Hospice Care Week and Dying Matters Week.  You will also support the running of LOROS social media channels.

To succeed in this role you must have excellent communication and organisational skills.  You will have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. You will have a high level of attention to detail, be a thorough planner and experienced in monitoring multiple projects. You should be creative and innovative and have a can-do attitude.
