A well-known business based in North Birmingham are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team, reporting into the Finance Manager, this an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join the business during an exciting time of growth.

As the Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting invoices
  • Raising invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Allocating cash
  • Sending invoices to customers
  • Dealing with customer invoices queries
  • Liaising with other branches
  • Chasing customer accounts via email, telephone and writing - large and small customer accounts
  • Setting up and amending customer account details
  • Producing debtors' reports
  • Assisting the wider finance department during business periods
  • CIS Deductions

Skills and experience you will require as the Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a varied Sales Ledger role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment
  • Confident in meeting strict deadlines
