We are looking for an experience focused and high performing sales professional who ideally has a proven track record in events sales with the ability to prospect for and deliver new business opportunities. You will be joining a fast-paced international sales team who are all motivated to achieve both individual and group sales targets, selling in one of their core sectors on an international event.

Our client organises over 250 exhibitions and conferences worldwide, with many market-leading events and well-known brands in key industry sectors. The product range includes everything from niche specialist conferences through to globally significant trade fairs with mass appeal and influence.

Events Sales Executive - Events and Exhibitions
GBP35,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION + INCREDIBLE BENEFITS AND REWARDS SCHEME

Event Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:

- Successfully achieve and/or exceed specified individual, team targets and performance objectives
- Grow develop and convert new business pipeline to achieve target in defined market sector
- Arrange and attend sales meetings with clients to full understand their needs and ensure to offer them the best solution
- Seek out new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline
- Write proposals to a high standard that sell the value of the solution
- Build account plans for all key growth accounts that identify the opportunities and map out the action plan
- Manage existing customer relationships throughout the show cycle to build trust and rapport to ensure clients make full use of services and achieve the best outcome from their investment
- Respond to all customer requests and ensure clients receive a timely response
- Ensure all client and account information is recorded accurately

Person Specification

- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, with proven experience in account management and new business development, ideally gained from working within exhibitions or sponsorship sales
- Experience of managing large accounts would be a distinct advantage
- Experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM would be a plus
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting and numeracy skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and adapt the portfolio of events and services to build a tailored solution
- A high level of self-motivation and the ability to manage heavy workloads and meet target
- Ability to prioritise effectively, anticipate obstacles and find effective solutions
- Persuasive and professional on the phone
- Outstanding oral and written skills
- Able to communicate and network effectively with people across many different industries and levels of seniority
- Interested in keeping up to date with trends and current issues within your business sector and the event industry as a whole
