IT Business Development Executive

GBP20,000 - GBP23,000 + OTE GBP29,000 uncapped bonus & expenses provided
My client are seeking an IT Business Development Executive to join the team. This client has recently relocated their offices to Leeds and now look to extend their sales and business development team. You will be responsible for managing existing client accounts with the aim of your responsibility to grow new accounts and develop business overall.
Duties of a Business Development Executive:
*Manage existing accounts, build business relationships to increase overall spend
*Liaise with new business in relation to IT software and hardware products as well as identifying company need
*Provide quotations to clients; accurately measuring their need as well as negotiating costs to secure ongoing business
*Meet with clients and visit current account holders to review contracts and maintain commercial relationships
Skills Required
To be considered for this role you must be experienced within sales and/or business development with a keen interest in IT & technology as a minimum or having had worked within the IT industry. Due to the nature of this role it would be ideal you have your own license and be available to travel to meet clients when necessary. Experience of working towards targets and KPIs is important as is excellent commercial knowledge to approach businesses confidently regarding their requirements.
