LOCATION: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Occasional travel required to depot in Bourne, Lincolnshire.
JOB TITLE: Warehouse Trainer.
SALARY & BENEFITS: Permanent role- Salary Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
WORKING HOURS: Full time, 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (Occasional shift work will be required), Permanent.

Their main depot in Peterborough is immediately filling a rewarding role and we encourage those who may be qualified to apply. Working within the Supply Chain Centre based in Peterborough there is an opportunity to join their team in a full time permanent position immediately:
Warehouse Trainer
As Warehouse Trainer, working within the Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for supporting change within the site and for ensuring that all warehouse staff have the appropriate skills. You will proactively assess skills and knowledge within the warehouse operation to determine what training is needed to ensure operational best practice, and delivering it.
Key Responsibilities to include: Warehouse Trainer- Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Designing, implementing and delivering training materials across all areas of warehouse operations.
Identifying training and development needs across the warehouse through analysis and regular consultation with Warehouse Management Team.
To update, deliver and/or distribute mandatory refresher training to reflect current legislative requirements.
Ensuring all statutory training requirements are met.
Deliver structured induction training to new employees, ensuring competence prior to operational training - providing additional support where required.
Deliver regular structured refresher training to existing staff to reflect current legislative requirements.
Maintain & update all training records.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the roles: Warehouse Trainer- Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Essential:
Qualified RTITB/ITSSAR Assessor (Reach, CTB, PPT, LLOP, MAN UP).
Proven knowledge and experience showing expertise of relevant subject matter and teaching methods.
An in-depth understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
Effective communications skills, including presentation and influencing skills.
Desirable:
Certification, knowledge and understanding of Basic Food Hygiene, COSHH and HACCP.
An understanding of food safety standards and working to BRC accreditation
Experience in delivering manual handling training.
