QA Technologist
Sussex Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing company in Lancing to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance Product Technologist to join their expanding team.
A background in Quality Assurance is required, ideally within the retail sector or office QA role. Experience of testing technical files and understanding the testing requirements needed is preferred. In addition, you will be well organised and flexible, with a logical and analytical mind. Previous experience of dealing directly with Far Eastern suppliers would be beneficial.
Applications will be considered from the following backgrounds: Food Technologist, Cosmetic Technologist, Garment Technologist, Buyer and ISO Compliance officer providing you are interested in QA. This is a fun, dynamic company with the opportunity to progress.
Typical duties will include:-
Management of testing on customer multiple accounts and attending customer meetings
Requesting, checking and filing test reports from manufacturers
Day to day maintenance of the technical files
Administration of the critical path on own accounts
Liaising with nominated test house to arrange test in line with Eu & US legislation
Advising on correct warnings & symbols for product packaging/instruction manuals/labels
Strong communication skills are needed, as the successful candidate will be liaising with customers, clients and internal departments also.
Salary dependent on experience.
