Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire
Salary: Circa GBP38,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week

The Company: GIC, established in 1984, are a growing UK manufacturer of high quality VFFS packaging machinery. Due to this continued growth, there is currently an excellent opportunity for a Design Development Engineer to join the team, based in Gainsborough, on a full time basis.
Key Roles & Responsibilities of the Design Development Engineer:
• Designing and detailing parts and assemblies for existing and bespoke applications
• Compiling parts lists
• Involvement with testing and commissioning of new design features
• Assisting Application Engineers with layout drawings for turnkey solutions
• Offering technical expertise and guidance to the Business
The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Design Development Engineer role should have at least 3 years' Solidworks experience and an HND/HNC qualification. Experience of packaging machinery is preferable. You must have great attention to detail, communication skills, and be comfortable working to deadlines.

Desirable Candidate Criteria:
