You will take part in a comprehensive 12-month technical traineeship, where you will gain hands-on experience and a broad insight into a potential engineering career within the business.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the product development team who work on new and existing products with the aim of extending and refining our extensive range, ensuring that we maintain our position as an innovative leading supplier to the window and door industry. You will provide administrative support such as maintaining and updating internal databases and creating and updating technical documentation. Your role will include active involvement in R&D projects, participating in project work and working with technical drawings.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be degree-educated (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or similar and be familiar with manufacturing processes and the use of CAD and 3D modelling software. As someone with a technical bias, you will have an aptitude for technical processes and problem-solving, alongside good communication skills. You will be comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure as part of a small team.
