We are now seeking a Food Skills Administrator to join the Food Skills Cymru Programme and help individuals develop skills they can use within the food and drink industries across Wales. This is a fixed-term contract, lasting until September 2021. 

This is an exciting role for a proven administrator to join an exciting project to inject life, skills and enthusiasm into the Welsh hospitality and food manufacturing sector. You’ll be playing a key organisational support role and making a real difference to project outcomes and helping to ensure that Wales really does become a food destination of choice.

As a Food Skills Administrator, you will be tasked with providing support and a data entry service to the Food Skills Cymru Programme. 

Specifically, you will maintain and develop effective systems for filing and record-keeping, utilising spreadsheets and databases, and support Project Managers with monthly claims, performance reporting and projections. 

You’ll support Project Staff with admin activities such as diary management, booking meetings, rooms, travel and accommodation, minute taking and action point recording. 

Overall, you’ll seek to support the delivery of the ‘Wales – A Food Destination’ workstream for the Food Skills Cymru internal targets.

- Familiarity with the use of CRM databases 

Communicative and collaborative, as a Food Skills Administrator, you will also need strong decision making and problem-solving skills, a customer focused approach and the ability to innovate and manage change.
