Durham County Council is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Highways Asset Management Engineer to work within busy, high performing Highways Assets Services Teams.

The Council’s Highways Asset Team is responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the highway network and associated assets together with the implementation of functions required under the Highways Act.

Post holders will be responsible for providing support and guidance in delivering high quality Highways Assets Services functions.

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment
