‘Deliver a strong business, fit for today and prepared for tomorrow’ is one of our five strategic aims and the one that sets out our commitment to build upon our performance management culture…

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Business Strategy and Assets, you will be responsible for collating and analysing information to ensure strong performance across the directorate. As well as having an eye for detail, you’ll be able to think of the bigger picture and link operational performance to our wider strategic goals, ensuring the directorate is on track in line with our Corporate Plan.

You also will be responsible for delivering strong performance and compliance from our contracted services,  managing a number of high value contracts across the directorate, namely for the organisation’s Stores and Fleet provision.  We’re also looking for someone who can not only manage contracts effectively, but implement a clear strategy for purchasing goods and services, ensuring directors receive the highest level of quality of products and services.

You will have recent proven experience in a similar role, and a legal understanding of contractual agreements. Thorough commercial understanding and the ability to plan and forecast demand is a must, as well as strong communications skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and act assertively and challenge where necessary.

If this sounds like the role for you we would love to hear from you. In return you will receive a competitive salary and a great benefits package, including a fantastic working environment, 27 days annual leave, a defined benefit pension scheme, health cash plan and childcare vouchers.

whg is committed to safer recruitment and to the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults and will conduct appropriate background checks where necessary.
