Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Newport
GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 + overtime + holiday + pension + training
DAYS BASED ROLE + on call
Hours each day 09:00 to 17:00
Multi skilled Maintenance role on offer with a great business that is growing rapidly. This position is based in their brand new manufacturing plant. The role is challenging, varied and can offer external robotics training and management progression as the maintenance team grows.
The role is electrically biased and multi skilled 70:30 between electrical and mechanical.
The job involves PPM and reactive maintenance across the entire range of machinery. On site there is robotics and PLC controls, the company will send you on external courses and train you in house on this. You do not need any prior experience of PLC or robotics.

The role:
* PPM and reactive maintenance on a wide range of PLC controlled machinery (such as packaging machines) and robotics.
* Electrical work involves: single and 3 phase, motors, drives, & some PLC programming and robotics (full training given you do not need experience of this).
* Mechanical work involves: gears, bearings, conveyors, machine strip down and re-builds
* Days based role with call out rota.
The person:
* Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with mechanical experience.
* Electrical qualification and/or apprenticeship (HNC level or equivalent).
* ANY experience in robotics and PLC programming is beneficial NOT essential
